Morgan Creek founder: Asset management companies are coming to disrupt the situation, and the next round of bull market will be regulated

According to a report by Dailyhodl on March 18, Anthony Pompliano, founder of the cryptocurrency investment company Morgan Creek Digital, said that the entry of institutional investment into the Bitcoin and encryption markets will set off an "unprecedented" bull market boom.

In a new post discussing trends among asset managers, Pompliano believes that cryptocurrency and blockchain investing will be “one of the fastest growing industries in alternative asset management over the next 10 years” and outlines why.

Pompliano said that alternative asset managers can no longer ignore the existence of cryptocurrencies.

When asset managers are interested in entering the cryptocurrency space, most of them either spend huge sums to hire talented and experienced crypto investors or acquire companies that specialize in blockchain and cryptocurrency asset management. While strategy selection is relatively easy, there can be many complicating factors.

However, these problems will eventually be resolved. I predict that the macro trend going forward is that alternative asset management will be absorbed into cryptocurrency asset management, because every alternative asset manager will have to manage cryptocurrencies in the next decade. Whether this is achieved through Bitcoin, public crypto markets, venture capital or token assets, this is bound to happen.

Pompliano said some will be left behind, while enlightened asset companies that are better at seizing opportunities will reap the greatest rewards.

In February, Morgan Creek announced the successful launch of a new fund. The fund has raised $40 million from investors including two public pension funds, a university endowment, an insurance company, a hospital and a private foundation. The fund will be used to invest in blockchain solution companies, with another small portion used to purchase cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.
