In principle, the service life of iPhone is 3 years, while iPhone 6 has existed for 5 years. The advantage of iPhone 6 is that it has the same appearance as 7, but at the same time it has a very high cost performance.

As of 2018, the sales of the iPhone 6 series still account for more than 10% of all Apple mobile phone models combined. According to the domestic smartphone market report for the third quarter of 2018 released by research organization MobData, among Apple users, the iPhone 6 series accounted for 16.1%, followed by iPhone 6s at 14.4% and iPhone 6s Plus at 12.5%. These three models together accounted for 42.5% of the models owned by domestic iPhone users.

The upstream industry chain stated that after the new iPhone is released in September this year, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 will be lowered to the 3500 level. These two models will become Apple’s representative models in China’s sub-4,000 yuan market segment. If the situation is still not optimistic, Apple may launch an upgraded version of iPhone SE. But judging from the current Apple self-operated stores on JD.com, the prices of iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 have already been reduced to 3,000 yuan.

From 2018 to 2019 this year, heated discussions about Apple have continued. Cook has previously stated that he will adjust the prices of his iPhones starting in 2019. At the same time, the new iPhones will also be priced based on macroeconomic conditions.

It is reported that this year’s three iPhone models will abandon the Lightning interface and use the USB Type-C interface.
